The Story

Made especially for extremely cold conditions, this thermal balaclava will do its job. It provides the right amount of moisture wicking properties and heat retention to keep you both dry and warm. It protects the head and face, while exposing only the mouth, nose and eyes. It can also be converted into a hat or a collar.

  • Color: Black
  • One size
  • Material: 48% Viscose*, 48% Polyester, 4% Elastan
*a premium comfort fibre from Kelheim Fibres GmbH

The name of the headgear comes from their use at the Battle of Balaclava during the Crimean War of 1854, where British troops there wore knitted headgear to keep warm. Handmade balaclavas were sent over to the British troops to help protect them from the bitter cold weather.
